Back Country Charters
The Indian River has a plethora of seagrass flats and mangrove shorelines. Swimming amongst them are redfish, trout, tarpon and snook. Sight casting to these fish is one of the most fun and effective ways of bringing them to the boat. Watching migrating birds pluck baitfish from the shoreline with porpoise and manatees nearly bumping into the side of the boat make for great entertainment between any lulls of fish catching. The 16’ Hell’s Bay Biscayne is a shallow, yet comfortable, vessel for navigating the shallow waters of the Indian River, Mosquito Lagoon and Banana River.
